The Dance Moms TV shows have become a staple on the Lifetime network; so when given the opportunity to send over some questions for one of the dancers, Mia Diaz, I jumped at the opportunity. Mia’s mother didn’t spend too much time in fights with other mothers, but Mia did think it was pretty cool to see herself on the show. Here is what she said:
Arin: What has it been like to watch the episodes of Dance Moms: Miami?
Mia: It’s funny to see my friends on TV, and my dance coaches, and me too!
A: Is it weird to watch your mother and the other mother fight on occasion?
M: Yes. It is because my mom doesn’t fight with anyone.
A: What do you love most about being on the show?
M: I love to be able to share my talent with the entire world.
A: Who are some choreographers that you would love to work with?
M: I would love to work with Mia Michaels and Sonya Tayeh.
A: What is your biggest goal with dance?
M: My biggest goal is to continue to dance and inspire others.
A: What comes next for you?
M: What’s next for me is breaking into TV and film. I would love to be in a movie on the big screen as well as on a hit TV show – maybe even my own show. :)
A: Did you watch Dance Moms before you were asked to participate on the show?
M: No, I think I had only watched it once. Because of my dance schedule, I could never watch it.
A: What got you into dance initially?
M: I started dancing at 2 1/2 years old. I have been dancing ever since. :)
