Being 17, I now have the special privilege of seeing ‘R’ rated movies alone. Normally, I don’t care too much about ratings, but it has opened up a new world of deeper films. The Descendants starring George Clooney was the first time I really understood the freedom of the little ‘R’ rating. This film has a deep story line, great acting and is already being noted as an award contender. I was excited to see Shailene Woodley staring alongside Clooney in the film. She delivered a great performance as his daughter, and it truly made for an incredible film. As long as you are at least 17, I would strongly suggest going out to see this one!
