Q: What go you started in music?
A: I’ve really always, been around it, being that my dad was in the business, and I now, know and have met Grammy winning-artists. I wanted to do it alone, without haters saying that I was helped…but what’s really so wrong with being helped over a period of time?
Q: How does songwriting work for you?
A: I usually write on my BlackBerry whenever my juices just need to be juiced lol, Sometimes I awake in my sleep and write at 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning. So pretty naturally, I’m pretty swift with writing to a beat as well.
Q: You have performed with some bigger names recently, who was your favorite?
A: I think it’s actually one where I didn’t perform I was just backstage and had the whole V.I.P. access opportunity, but I’d like to say Soulja Boy, the energy level for a highly hated on guy as himself is MASSIVE!
Q: When can we expect a debut album?
A: Soon! Hopefully I got a few things on the table right now, and hopefully more will arise out of the air.
How would you describe your sound / style?
5. My life, my inner self, I try to express my emotions still sounding good at the same time, My sound is unique.. I feel like, I’m not like any other artist, don’t compare me to no one, because I have my own craft.
Q: Who are your biggest influences? Why?
A: GOD, the man upstairs, nothing is possible without him, TuPac Shakur he’s a legend, the greatest I could never amount to him, Lil Wayne that guy is sick, he’s Wayne that defines him right there, Drake I listen to Drake almost every day from the great melodies to the unbelievable metaphors he brings!
Q: What is the most played song on your iPod?
A: Currently, I’m without a iPod, so my BlackBerry is my life, but I’ve been listening to Bei Maejor’s whole ‘uʍop ǝpısdn’ It’s incredible and a few tracks, off my upcoming debut release, ‘Tune Me Up.’
