Louis from The Great Valley took some time to talk to me:
Q: What are some music influences you have and why?
A: More recently: Tokyo Police Club, The Swellers, Kings of Leon, Drake & Steel Panther.
They make us feel good when we listen to them and have something special in the way they write their music that we admire.
Q: How have your parents played a part in your music?
A: They are both musicians and understand our passion. They got us into playing our instruments and have been more than supportive through our entire lives.
Q: Other than Hot Topic, where can people hear your music?
A: Our debut EP titled, “Wrecking Ball” is on iTunes and you can download our FREE acoustic EP titled “Stripped” on our myspace page!
Q: What is one artists you would love to do a track with for the new album and why?
A: Hmmmm that’s tough, either AJ & Cody from The Dangerous Summer or Kenny Vasoli from The Starting Line/Person L.
Q: Who writes the songs and where does the inspiration come from?
A: Nick & I write and record everything. Years of being in and out of studios together really taught us how to construct the songs instrument by instrument.
Q: What are some goals you have for the music industry and for life in general?
A: We are aiming for the number one spot with this new record. We want to finally live comfortably and make the same possible for our parents.
