Q: When the judges eliminated you last night, Nigel said that you were amazing the night before. Did you leave feeling a little confused?
A: Well, no. I went off the show very happy with what I have done. No, I was really excited and obviously very sad because I wanted to stay more until the end. Things happen for a reason, and that’s the way it is.
Q: What was it like to work with Pasha, being he is a professional ballroom dancer?
A: It was a great experience. Having a professional dancer help you through practice and give you this confidence. It was a really great experience, and I would never change it. I’m glad I got him for my last dance.
Q: Do you think you could have done anything more to maybe show viewers how good of a dancer you were? Do you think you did everything you could have?
A: Yeah, I think I did everything I could. I would have loved to stay and show America and the people that I can do even more. I’m very, very happy with what I have done on the show. I’m going home very, very happy and proud of myself.
Q: What’s next for you?
A: I’ll keep working, more dancing, and going back to school.
Q: How do you feel about the fact that there are so many more men left in the competition then women at this point?
A: It’s really tough because I think that the guys in the competition are very strong. And now that they have only three girls it’s going to be harder because it’s three and six guys. It’s going to be interesting.
Q: What do you think the greatest obstacle was in coming into this year’s show? Was it harder, do you think, than former years? What was the greatest obstacle, and how did you overcome it?
A: I auditioned for Season 6, and it was very, very hard auditioning Vegas Week. Now, this year was even harder, just being 1 of the 5 girls that they choose for the top 11. Being on the show, it was great. That was the hardest thing ever that I have done, and I did it, and I made it, and I’m really happy about that.
Q: What’s the most important thing you learned from your time on the show?
A: Just to be determined and to keep going. Just to push yourself to really work hard and hard to just be better.
