Q: Where did the band’ name come from?
A: One of our favorite songs is ‘All-star’ by Smash Mouth and weekends are fun; so that’s how we made our band’s name.
Q: Where does song inspiration come from?
A: Usually we like to hear dancy beats, and they make us think of things to say and songs to sing.
Q: What is your favorite part of being in a band?
A: Performing and hearing the finished product of a song;
we’ve worked really hard on and it finally comes together and it sounds awesome.
Q: Why did you start singing?
A: I’ve always liked to sing in the shower, singing in the car and one day I decided I wanted to try it for real.
Q: How did all of you meet?
A: We met in High School.
Q: If you could have a song on any show, what show would it be?
A: I’d like to have it in either Lost or Scrubs or Hannah Montana; and the song would be ‘Dance Forever.’
Q: Who would you like to record a song with or go on tour with?
A: I think it would be really cool to go on tour with Selena Gomez and also it would be cool to record a song with her.
Q: What was your reaction to being signed with Hollywood Records?(2.53 starts to sing)
A: It was one of the most exciting moments of our lives and it was our dream coming true. We were really excited, like head over heels.
Q: What was the coolest even you performed at?
A: We had a great time on the Disney Cruise, summer at sea. And then I think some of our favorite memories are playing local shows or small shows on tour and seeing the growth of people is really exciting and fun for us.
Q: What are the plans for 2010?
A: Going on tour, coming out with a new album are the biggest plans.
Q: Do you communicate with fans on Twitter?
A: Yes, I do.
Q: What is your reaction to the growth in the number of your fans?
A: It’s overwhelming, it feels so awesome, and it really makes us feel lucky and special.
Q: How do you prepare for a show?
A: We like to warm up our voices together and sing songs together and do jumping jacks.
